The Electron Density Phantom QRM-EDP houses inserts providing 6 different tissue eauivalent materials and electron densities of main interest in radiation oncology treatment planning. The phantom is designed for the Hounsfield Unit (HU) vs. electron denstity calibration of CT scanners and treatment planning systems.
The phantom can be used with our Anthropomorphic QRM-Thorax or the Oval Body Phantom. It consists of a solid tissue equivalent plastic cylinder holding six rods with materials of different electron densities (air, CTwater, dense tissue, spongious bone, medium bone and dense bone).
Phantom inserts are also available seperately as cylindrical rods. Please contact us if you have any questions!
