- Evaluates low-contrast detectability of Micro-CT system
- Two different phantoms available:|V1 contrast -4% and -8% inserts 1 and 2.5 mm |V2 Contrast -3%, -6%, -9%, inserts 1, 2 and 3 mm
- Four inserts of two different contrast levels and dimensions
The cylindrical Micro-CT Low-Contrast Phantoms comprise small details of a specified contrast used to estimate the low-contrast resolution of Micro-CT scanners.
The difference in Hounsfield Units can be as low as -40 HU and -80 HU. Actual values vary slightly depending on scanner geometry, calibration and tube voltage.
Standard phantoms are scaled down from the diameter of an average human trunk (32 cm) to that of a fat mouse (32 mm).
Different dimensions and insert substances can be produced upon request.
