Micro-CT Dose Phantom
For dose measurements (DLP, CTDI) using a standard pencil-shaped ionization chamber
OVERVIEW
- For dose measurements (DLP, CTDI) on Micro-CT systems
- Soft tissue-equivalent plastic
- Center hole for a standrad pencil-shaped ionization chamber
- Customizable
The Micro-CT Dose Phantom is a dosimetry phantom with a length of 120 mm for determination of the Dose Length Product (DLP) and Computed Tomography Dose Index (CTDI).
A standard pencil-shaped ionization chamber of 100 mm length can be inserted into the central bore hole. The removable insert is commonly used in standard dosimetry phantoms, where ionization chambers can be inserted at the center and at 10 mm from the periphery of the phantom.
Standard phantoms are scaled down from the diameter of an average human trunk (32 cm) to that of a fat mouse (32 mm).
Different dimensions and insert substances can be produced upon request.
