Micro-CT Contrast Scale Phantom

For the evaluation of high-contrast materials in preclinical micro-CT

  • Evaluation of high contrast materials in preclinical Micro-CT
  • Scaling of CaHA (bone) and Iodine
  • Customizable

For a given concentration of a substance (specified in mg/cm³), the so-called Contrast Scale Factor allows the evaluation of the contrast measured in Hounsfield Units (HU).

The Micro-CT Contrast Scale Phantom contains samples of CaHA (calcium hydroxyapatite) and Iodine - the substances of highest interest in small-animal research.

Inserts with other sizes and materials other than those specified here can be produced upon request.
