  • Assess in-plane spatial resolution of any 3D X-ray imaging system by evaluating the PSF and MTF

The phantom contains a 50 micron thick wire aligned parallel to the phantom axis of rotation centrally in the cylindrical body. The wire is either surrounded by homogeneous solid material or placed in the air. Using the phantom, the Point Spread Function (PSF) and Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) can easily be investigated.

Customizable: Different wire diameters are available upon request.
